In 2009, Charity Shop DJ brought its unique blend of music, storytelling, and community engagement to the Harley Gallery, nestled within the historic Welbeck Estate in North Nottinghamshire. The event, aptly titled "100% Proof," was a spirited celebration that intertwined the rich heritage of the locale with the universal language of music.

Set against the backdrop of the Harley Gallery's distinctive architecture, once a Victorian gasworks repurposed into a vibrant arts space, the event invited attendees to explore the connections between their personal histories and the music that shaped them. Vintage vinyl records, sourced from local charity shops, served as catalysts for conversations, memories, and shared experiences among participants of all ages.

The "100% Proof" event was more than just a musical gathering; it was an interactive experience that encouraged community members to delve into their musical pasts. Attendees were invited to bring their cherished records, share stories associated with them, and even take a turn on the decks, spinning tunes that resonated with their personal journeys.
Guest of honour was pop artist, Sir Peter Blake, who designed the famous cover of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
